FINALLY UPDATING

I have so much to tell anyone who ever reads this thing. First off, my jobs are going great. ONLY 2.5 MORE WEEKS TILL I LEAVE FOR AUSTRALIA. Crazy- its been a long time comming but I'm finally ready. Today I am ready. I got my visa passed today. This is an amazing thing becuase they just recieved the medical forms less than 10 days ago. Gosh this is so wierd. I just have this urge to tell you all how good God is. No this is not a sermon or a duty, this is something thats just so real to me. God has been speaking to me in a new way, and I've learned to speak to Him in a new way thats very real. You know that song that says "take me to that place Lord, to that secret place, where I can be with You....wrap me in Your arms, wrap me in Your arms, wrap me in Your arms." Well, I was always afraid to sing that song becuase I didn't think God actually would wrap me in my arms. a.) becuase I wasnt good enough , and b.) becuase God wasnt that good. But I think He is that good. Its hard to imagine someone meeting you where you're at, but I think God does that. He's pretty patient with people. I mean, ME, me who's grown up in a Christain home and witnessed so many acts of God, someone who's been close to Him and already been healed from broken hearts and has used up all their chances of restoration. He's been patient with ME. Thats crazy. Gods been finalizing some stuff. Some things he's done in my life would take a long time to tell and are so deep I cant even fully explain them, but get THIS- God put it on someone's heart to get me an IPOD, and not just any Ipod, the newest and the best- 30 gigs, plays video, holds pictures, holds 7500 songs, and I even got a thing that can hook to my car radio, and a 3 year warranty. I mean, I would've been blessed off my socks with just an old ipod from ebay or something, but as my friend who gave this to me said- God never does anything half way.

So, I leave you all with this- I'm going to Australia, I'm ready now, and God is ready to have me I think, He's been ready all along. As you grow deeper in love with God and get to know Him, remember that He is real and gives real blessings, and wants to make you more alive than you've ever been. Life's not easy, but its easier already just knowing you have someone there who loves you.

Thank you to all of you who have seen me through so many things, and pointed the right way out. I'm a different person than I was a year ago, but still me. Thanks for all your support, I love you all a lot, but God loves you more. Trust me- if God can get me through whats He's gotten me through this year, He can certainly get you through it. WHATS THE BEST PRESENT YOU'VE BOUGHT FOR SOMEONE THIS YEAR? (I know what Patricks' answer is heehee)

I think the best thing is what I'm getting for my parents- a gift cert to a Signas- a really really nice restarurant, and then a movie pass, and a new shirt for my mom. I'm basically buying a date for them. Cuz they deserve it, and cuz they're gonna need it to consol themselves after me leaving. hahaha. wink (said in will ferrell's impression of Robert Duley's "wink")

Hope everyone's Thanksgranting Day went great! Its the one day you're allowed to commit gluttony. I know I did. (said in will Ferrel's immitation of Harry Carry's tone of voice). Spent too much money also (i dont know how I did seeing since I worked every day to except for thanksgranting day.) I bought the robbie seah band, david crowder's latest, switchfoots' latest, and death cab for cuties's latest. LOVE that band. Also bought Blue Like Jazz,  Im trying to read it kind of slow so i can digest it. Theres so much depth and realness in his writing. Completely fits our generation's way of communicating and proccessing. I also got a book called Music Lust- a book that gives reccommendations of all these bands and musicians and tells a little bit about them. Its amazing since I work at a music store and love music more than food and this will give me a literary sampling of all the music i could ever want. Its funny becuase I really have lusted over music. Not a gross kind of lust- but a "i-have-to-hear-that-song-right-this-second-and-I-dont-care-how-much-the-cd-costs kind of lust)

probably "Follow You Into the Dark" by deathcab for cutie, or the soundtrack for the movie Friday Night Lights.

I think I'm turning into a workaholic. THat might be ok seeing since I'm just trying to rake the money it before I head to Australia- but still, no, I really do think i'm becoming one. Laura is comming tonight which makes it a very very good day. And we're going to see RENT. I've never seen the musical before,so it should be good.

It used to be the pumpkin pie, but now its between the apple pie and the mashed potatoes MIXED with the corn and gravy. The shrimp is in the top standing to. YUMMMM

PS. I'M GOING TO A WEDDING WITH GARY! Do you know what this means????? It means that together we're going to make a whole Mexican (cuz we're each half). haha love it.
